Project Project Overview

The Rajarata Gynecological Endoscopy Center (RAGEC) organizes an annual Doctors and Nurses Training Camp designed to strengthen clinical skills, update healthcare professionals on the latest knowledge in gynecological diseases, and provide practical experience in assisting endoscopic surgeries. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, disease recognition, evidence-based practice, patient safety, and professional collaboration, ensuring participants are prepared to deliver advanced gynecological care.

What Is Annual Doctors and Nurses Training Camp 2025–2030

Objectives

  • Equip participants to identify gynecological diseases early and accurately.
  • Update doctors and nurses on current advances and best practices in gynecology and endoscopic surgery.
  • Provide opportunities to assist in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries under supervision.
  • Promote team-based learning and effective collaboration in clinical and surgical settings.
  • Enhance overall quality of patient care in public hospitals and regional healthcare centers.

Target Participants

  • Doctors: Junior doctors, medical officers, and postgraduate trainees in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Nurses: Operating theatre nurses, gynecology ward nurses, and specialized endoscopy nurses.

Eligibility:

  • Active involvement in women’s healthcare.
  • Commitment to completing the training sessions.
  • Endorsement from their hospital or institution (if applicable).

Training Modules

  • Disease Identification & Clinical Diagnosis: Learn to recognize gynecological conditions and complications.
  • Latest Knowledge Updates: Seminars on current guidelines, research findings, and innovative techniques.
  • Assisting in Surgeries: Hands-on participation in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures under supervision.
  • Case Discussions & Clinical Audit: Review real cases, surgical outcomes, and patient management strategies.
  • Patient Safety & Ethics: Infection control, ethical practice, and patient-centered care.

Duration & Format

Duration: 5–7 days annually

Format:

  • Morning: Live surgeries and disease identification rounds
  • Afternoon: Workshops, hands-on assisting, and knowledge updates
  • Evening: Seminars, discussions, and reflection sessions

Expected Outcomes

  • Accurately identify and diagnose gynecological diseases.
  • Apply updated clinical knowledge in patient care.
  • Assist in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries safely and effectively.
