Dr. Kumara Dissanayake is a renowned obstetrician and gynecologist with an impressive set of qualifications and extensive experience. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, followed by a Doctor of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD(OBs and Gyn)). He is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the UK (MRCOG) and a Fellow of the Sri Lankan College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FSLCOG). Dr. Dissanayake has also completed specialized training in minimally invasive surgical techniques for gynecological conditions, including a Fellowship in Gynecological Endoscopy in India and a Diploma in Advanced Gynae Laparoscopy in Germany. He is a member of the British Society for Gynecological Endoscopy and the International Society for Gynecological Endoscopy. Dr. Dissanayake is currently the Director of the Rajarata Gynecological Endoscopy Center and serves as the Head and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Sciences, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. Additionally, he is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at a teaching hospital in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka, where he uses his expertise to provide high-quality care to his patients.
