What is laparoscopy?
Laparoscopy allows a surgeon to examine or operate inside the abdomen and pelvis through small incisions. Depending on your symptoms, examination, imaging, medical history, and treatment goals, laparoscopy may be used for diagnosis or for procedures such as myomectomy, hysterectomy, treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, adhesiolysis, or selected fertility investigations. What is hysteroscopy?
